Warragul Fire Brigade has 40 registered firefighters that are actively involved in fire suppression and community safety activities within Warragul and surrounds, and 15 operational support members. These members come from all walks of life: agronomists, bus & truck drivers, police officers, bakers, beauty technicians, cheese makers and students to name a few.

The brigade responds to about 180 calls every year, including structure fires, motor vehicle accident’s, automatic alarms, LPG incidents, HAZMAT (Hazardous Materials) incidents and grass fires.
